RULES, REGULATIONS AND ACTS OF COMMON
COURTESY
EACH VEHICLE MUST REGISTER WITH THE
OFFICE UPON ARRIVAL. Showers are for paying campers
only. Guest are not to use them. Drive slowly
throughout the campground.
11:00 A.M. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT.
Other arrangements may be made with the
office.
QUIET TIME IS ALL THE TIME. No vehicle or loud radios allowed.
Radios must not be heard off your campsite. Absolute quiet shall be
observed from 10:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. Bright lights and radios must be
turned off during these hours. All visitors must leave by 10:00 P.M. Late night arrivals should set up camp as quietly as possible. Avoid flashing lights into other campsites. Keep conversation low and to
a minimum.
ALCOHOL ALLOWED IN MODERATION ONLY. Excessive drinking will not be tolerated.
If you are asked to leave because of abuse, the sheriff will be notified,
so a designated driver is recommended.
NO FORAGING FOR FIREWOOD. Small, open fires are allowed in the
provided fireplaces only. Do not move the fireplaces. We sell firewood, or
buy locally. In order to protect our trees, and the natural
resources of North Carolina, DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD from anywhere else.

KEEP YOUR CAMPSITE CLEAN. Every effort is made to provide you with a
clean facility. DON'T LITTER. Litter
includes cigarette butts, pop-tops etc. If you must move a picnic table,
please return it to it proper site before leaving.
RESPECT OUR TREES. Do not cut a tree, sapling, limb etc. for
any reason. Do not drive nails, screws, axes, knives, etc. into any
trees, or deface a tree for any reason. Marshmallow sticks are
available free at
the office.
DON'T CLIMB BANKS. Avoid making or using steep paths that
create erosion. No trenching around tents.
PETS ON LEASHES. Small pets are welcome provided they are
not an annoyance. Do not leave your pet unattended. Clean up after
your pet. If you are in need of kennel services, please contact
Rippling Water Kennel.
PARENTS, GUARDIANS AND GROUP LEADERS
The responsibility of your group is still
yours. Know where and what your charges are doing at all times. Make
sure everyone is aware of all of the campground rules.
NO FIREARMS, CONCEALED OR OTHERWISE.
NO FIREWORKS
ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES CAN RESULT
IN PERMANENT EXPULSION . Your cooperation is required and appreciated.
